turning

Grace didn't turn head down until 37 weeks, we went to the doctor to turn her manually... from the tummy..
so, since mei mei didn't turn at 34 weeks, i was almost sure that mei mei would not turn , just like jie jie. However , due to the c-section, it'd be high risk to turn the baby manually, so we decided to let whatever will be will be...
however, today, when i visited doctor.. i can't believe that doctor informed me that mei mei has turned head down! hey! may be this time we could finally have a natural birth for mei mei! wow.. it's getting so exciting..
count down.. starts now... !
Gambate Mummy! Gambate Mei mei.. u better stay there ya! Mummy loves you too..

Parents' Speech During Wedding Dinner

All the while i thought the parents' speech in wedding dinner is just a tradition and something to fill the night programmes. i have seen a lot of parents felt so uncomfortable and unprepared during the speech.

Recently i felt differently because actually it is something so meaning full!!

1) It is an achievement because you have raised your child well to let the child to step into a mile stone
2) It is a mile stone to yourself that finally it is your own turn to give the speech. nowadays raising a child is not easy.
3) From the day he or she born, it is a decades afair before the day comes, anything can happen and you just might not have the chance to stand there but the wedding still goes on

i am looking forward for the day to come.

Grace and Swimming Pool

2 weeks ago we were in the swimming pool since it has been ages we didnt bring Grace to go swimming. After awhile in the pool, Grace told me that she wanted to pass urine. Being a selfish and lazy fellow, i told her to do it inside the pool. she felt reluctant of course. then i convinced her that it is okay. then she started to squat a bit so to put the pass urine action inside the pool. i felt the squatting action was funny and maybe to share this memory during her wedding speech.

however, i think she didnt pass urine in the pool after all because when reached home, she passed a lot in the toilet.

girl, you are so funny.

mummy would teach at sunday school on sat afternoon. When nai nai is not around, we would send baby Grace to Sister Mary at St Thomas Catholic church. One day, when i've finished my class, i went to pick her up. Then i saw her holding something on both of her hands.. and keeps trying to eat or bite or mouth them. She has no teeth yet... but she's really a tam jiak baby.

cutest baby contest

Parkson is having cutest baby contest. Thus, we compiled 4 photos of Grace and hope that she could win us some Parkson shopping vourcher as she does look cute in her mummy and daddy's eyes. so this is what we've submitted. May the cutest baby win!

my Princess & Allergy

Grace had fish on her 7th month. In chinese it's called 'sek pan'. On the next day, she had something like mosquito bites on her chest.. then leg.. which we thought some naughty mosquitoes must have bitten her during the father's day lunch at the restaurant. At night, there were new bites, and again we thought oh gosh.. could it be dust mites.. Thomas changed the bedsheet.. and the next day.. you could look at her face and body.. my Poor little princess. We finally suspected the fish. My mum insisted that it was just mosquito bites but we brought her to see doctor and yupe, it's allergy... she is still having allergy now.. but it's getting better. This is how she looks like... my poor baby

Grace's Favourite thumb

Grace loves to suck her thumb. We tried stopping her by giving her pacifier.. she sucked so hard for a while but spitted it out. I guess she was thinking.. stop kidding me, there's no milk coming out from this thing! so, it didn't work. I also spent few days sitting beside her and took her thumb out when she tried to put in her mouth... but it didn't work. Although many people asked me to stop her from doing it, however, it's a very convenient 'pacfier', now, she would suck her thumb and be very happy about it. I don't have to sterilize it. It's her favourite thumb. So I just let her do it. I gave up.

This morning, mummy had tummy ache. It was soooooooooooooooooo painful. I told girl girl that mummy is having tummy ache, and i guess she understood. I was lying beside her and she started sucking her favourite thumb. It definitely looks like she is enjoying it so much and it is so delicious. So i asked her, Baby, is your thumb delicious? it must be delicious ya, it looks so yummy, can u let mummy suck too? ok, now mummy opens mummy's mouth, you put in mummy's mouth and let mummy sucks ok ?
she paused for a while......................... then she took out her thumb and put her hand in my mouth ! Gosh ! i was shocked! and I was sooooo touched! my tears rolled down my cheek again. I wasn't expecting that as i didn't know she could understand and could do what i asked her to. I don't believe it's a coincident as she never put her hands in our mouth before. I appreciate my 5 months old daughter sacrificing her favourite thumb for mummy. Baby! Mummy Loves you ! It's definitely God's grace to have given you to us! Thank you God!
