Dato Dr Goh confirmed it's water bag leaking, but it had only opened like 2 cm. so i requested to go home and take shower and have dinner. and so i did. which again the book says i could do so ... then admitted around 8 + .. with no pain at all.. the pain kicked in around 12 am , initially i told Thomas u could go ahead and sleep, but later while i was having so much pain and i saw him sound asleep, i got so bitter then i woke him up. Ha ! How could i be having so much pain and the husband be sleeping ? Although he couldn't do anything at all. around 3+ it's getting more painful, and the nurse asked if i 'd want pain killer, whether i want the normal injection or epidural, not knowing what's the diff, later i picked epidural. the anathestician came 2 hours later .. i was like .. what in the world ?? where is he staying.. even if he stays at Gambang he could be here already ! Finally he came around 5am, and 5 mins after he's done, i told Thomas, softly, (i 'd not much energy left).. .' go tell them i feel like vomitting... ' then he ...huh ? what ?? i repeated.. then he walked out to look for the nurse and anasthetician.. then immediately i ... uekkkkkkkkkkk , and uekkkkkkkk.. for two times.. i vomitted all my dinner out , on myself, as i 'd no energy to even sit up or turn my head... what a mess... when i was vomitting, my water bag truly burst, i felt so much water came out.. yes, this time water bag really burst.. (and i'd vomitted 4 times altogether as side effect of Epidural) even in the OT and after the Operation.
We waited and waited, with no pain at all, thanks to epidural.. until the next morning, and the opening was ONLY 3cm. Until today, i 'd no idea why didn't my Doctor induce me. On the 19th hour since my water bag leaked, i'd got fever, and the doctor came in to inform us, ok , now u 're having fever, and your opening is now 5cm, (need to wait for the opening to be around 10cm).. so i guess in 3-4 hours u should be able to deliver, but since u 're having fever, please decide if u still want to wait for a normal delivery, or we'll have to send u in for an emergency caecerean as your baby is having risk of lung infection due to the fever.... we were having such a difficult time deciding what to do .. i was so tired i asked thomas to decide.. may be due to the fact that we'd waited 19 hours for a normal birth !!!! how could u ask us to go for a ceaserean section now! if i knew earlier, i 'd have gone for the caeserean section ! anyway, how could we risk the baby, at the end, the Doctor came in a bit angrily and asked us, why would u risk your baby 's health ?!? if the baby comes out and something is wrong ? ok ok .. push me in and 'chop' me now.. (it's just like chopping the chicken or so) that 's truly depressing.. but as long as the baby is ok ... and anything for the baby's safety.
Seeing the operation was alright. i saw smoke coming up from my tummy as if they were bbq-ing me.. at the moment the baby came out and started crying.. i was truly touched.. and thankful ! After 22 hours, i was finally out from the Operation theater and back to my room shivering. (too cold) Later my husband told me he almost cried while i was being pushed in to the OT and pushed out from the OT( for years he never cries).
We thank God that the mother, the baby and the father are safe. The baby was 3.2kg. There was no lung infection, a very adorable baby. She was resembling the father more, but now resembles the mother more. It is Truly God's grace for giving us this baby, from pregnancy to delivery, God had been protecting and showing his mercy to us, thus we named Our baby - Grace Ting. In this blog, we will be recording our memories on my pregnancy, delivery, and my motherhood and parenting life. Hope it will serve as a record for Grace, experience sharing, entertaining stories which will not bore you guys to death and also, testify God's love and grace in our liv
